CCR

Using AGA's Citizen-Centric Report Templates

AGA has received 47 citizen-Centric Reports (CCRs) this year from governments and agencies representing federal, local and state government. Did you know that AGA has report templates that can assist you in creating a Citizen-Centric Report for your entity? We'd like to recognize the following governments/entities that have produced CCRs for three or more years: Benton County Treasurer; Guilford County, NC; Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council; Palo Alto, CA; Saco, Maine; Tallahassee, FL; State of Nevada; State of Texas; and University of Guam. Learn more.

Chapter Member-Centric Reports

Since July 2011, 41 AGA chapters have produced Member-Centric Reports. The reports communicate to the chapter's members about the activities of the chapter, and also serves as a recruiting tool. View completed reports. The AGA National Office will distribute its' 2012 Member-Centric Report at the PDC in San Diego.

What Did You Learn About Your Chapter?

A survey was recently administered to the individuals preparing chapter member-centric reports to discover what they had learned about their chapter during the construction process. Responses included:

  • "We have a higher fund balance than I realized."
  • "The number of retired members and CGFMs."
  • "The majority of our members are early in their career."
  • "How much the average CPE hour costs in real dollars."

Submit your FY12 Chapter Member-Centric Reports by Sept. 30 to receive 500 chapter recognition points. Need more information about CCR? Contact Evie Barry.

What is Citizen-Centric Reporting?

AGA is encouraging governments of all sizes to produce Citizen-Centric Reports, or CCRs, which detail government finances in a visually appealing, clear and understandable four-page document. More governments every year are adopting CCRs as a way to communicate government finances to the people they serve. See what state, local and federal government organizations have produced.
