Onsite Government Financial Manager (GFM) Training Program

AGA's unique onsite program provides a foundation in all areas of government financial management and deals with all levels of government—federal, state and local. It is greatly beneficial for individuals new to the government financial management arena or those looking to expand their knowledge of this field. It also helps candidates prepare for the three Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Examinations.

Whether you want your staff to have a comprehensive grasp of government financial management, be current on their continuing professional education (CPE) or enhance their professional resume, AGA’s onsite GFM courses can give them the tools they need to succeed in the field of government financial management.

Training Options:

The entire GFM Program or individual courses can be brought to your agency or company in an onsite arrangement, at your location and during your preferred dates. To meet your training needs, AGA offers three convenient options:

ONE: Traditional GFM Training Program:

This option consists of three courses held over the course of six days, and is best for groups larger than 21 people.  The most common and preferred arrangement is to split the courses into two sets of three days each (Courses 1 and 3, and then Course 2). It is a remarkable opportunity to provide high-quality and cost-effective training to your employees.

Price (for up to 30 individuals): $18,000

This fee includes all instructor fees and expenses, and three CGFM study guides for each participant. The traditional onsite arrangement through AGA offers exceptional value for your training dollars. With 30 individuals participating in the entire training program, the cost is $100 per person/per day, and $12.50 per CPE offered. Note: for an additional study guide fee of $195 per person, up to 35 participants may attend the training.

TWO: Individual Course Offering:

Prices (for up to 30 individuals):

- Course 1: Governmental Environment (one-day): $3,500
- Course 3: Governmental Financial Management and Control (two days): $6,000
- Course 1 and 3 (held back-to-back, three days): $9,000 (Save $500!)
- Course 2:  Governmental Accounting, Financial Reporting and Budgeting (three days): $9,000

These fees include all instructor fees and expenses, and the applicable CGFM study guide for each participant. For an additional study guide fee of $65 per person, up to 35 participants may attend each course.

THREE: Condensed Small Group Arrangement

Would you like to bring the CGFM courses to your location, but have less than 20 people to fill the class? We have a new option called “TEN FOR TEN.”  It’s the same CGFM course material, only condensed and presented in five consecutive days—one day less than in our traditional GFM onsite training. This training is ideal for small businesses, agencies or local governments looking to train between 10-20 individuals.

Price:  $10,000 for 10 participants. (Each person over 10 is an additional $600.)

This fee includes all instructor fees and expenses, and three CGFM study guides for each participant.
