Southeast Region Spring 2015 Seminar

Seminar at Edgewater Hotel in Gatlinburg, TN, which includes a trip to the aquarium as an outing. Price is $350 for AGA members and $400 for non AGA members for the training. Rooms at the Edgewater can be reserved for $83/day. Speakers include: Bill Miller, AGA National President, Jerry Durham, Dave Cotton and Lee Ann Waters.

Professional Development Training - Albuquerque and New Mexico AGA

March 30, 2015 – April 1, 2015
Hotel Cascada, Albuquerque, NM

Formally known as the PDC, the AGA Albuquerque and New Mexico Chapters' Professional Development Training is the premier continuing educational event for the government accounting sector. This year's training will be held March 30, 2015 - April 1, 2015 and will include a 6 hour focus on preparing for the CGFM on Monday, March 30. Tuesday and Wednesday will offer a total of 17 hours of CPE with a Federal, State and or Local government focus.

2015 CFO-CIO Summit

AGA and the Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) are planning a half-day CFO-CIO Summit on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Marriott Metro Center in Washington DC. This joint-session is designed to bring together the CIO and CFO communities to discuss the intersection of policies and management issues that impact CFOs and CIOs and how they are working together to improve efficiency and transparency, reduce risk and strengthen their work force.
