Examination Locations

You can take the CGFM Examinations almost any time you want! AGA has contracted with NetCertification, Inc., to offer the CGFM examinations year-round in more than 300 Prometric locations throughout the United States. This computer-based administration allows the three multiple-choice CGFM examinations to be offered securely in hundreds of locations nationwide reducing travel costs and allowing you to schedule exams at your convenience. Many of the Prometric Technology Centers even offer Saturday hours, and are open late throughout the week for additional convenience.

How do I make an appointment to take the CGFM Examinations?
After you apply for the CGFM Program, receive your eligibility letter from AGA and purchase your examinations, you can print an exam authorization letter with instructions on how to make a testing appointment. Note: please do not call the local Prometric testing centers to schedule your testing appointment.

Where is the nearest Prometric Technology Center?

While you'll need to call the Prometric 800 number to schedule your testing appointment for CGFM Examinations, you can find out the location of the nearest Prometric testing center by following the steps below (Note: please read the instructions first).

To find the closest center, click on the "Testing Centers" link below and follow these steps:

1) Select "Academic, Professional Licensure & Certification, Government, and Corporate Programs" and "Net Certification" from the pull-down menu in Step 1 and "United States" and your state in Step 2. Click on "Next".
2) Click on "Locate a Test Site"
3) In the Exam Selection menu select “2 hour appointment time block” exam. Click on "Next".
4) A page should show the test centers within the state.
