Program Overview

Theme, Plans Under Way for AGA's First NLC

Accountability and Ethics is the theme for AGA's First National Leadership Conference on Feb. 20-21, 2003. The technical committee, co-chaired by U.S. Department of Labor Chief Financial Officer Sam Mok, CGFM, and Georgia State Auditor Russell W. Hinton, CGFM, is hard at work on the program.

The committee is contacting a number of high-level speakers and will provide agenda information in upcoming issues of the Government Financial Management TOPICS newsletter and on this website.

The National Leadership Conference (NLC) takes the place of AGA's Federal Leadership and State & Local Government Leadership Conferences. The NLC will bring together leaders from all government levels to discuss issues of common interest, chief among them accountability and ethics. The conference will be held at the International Trade Center-the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.

We look forward to seeing you in February at AGA's First National Leadership Conference!
