3 – 5 p.m. • Business Meeting 5 – 6 p.m. • Networking Social Hour Please reserve May 8 to attend an important quarterly Corporate Partner business meeting to be held at the Tower Club in Tyson's Corner, VA. We need every Corporate Partner organization to send at least one representative to this meeting. Everyone likes the new format of the business meeting, including the ‘Getting to Know Your Fellow CPAG Member’ segment and the Social Hour (good food and drink), so we will be doing this again on May 8. Plus we will hear an AGA report and status updates on the various research projects that are under way. This is also an excellent opportunity for you to network with other Corporate Partner representatives and learn firsthand how to maximize your organization’s partnership with AGA. Please RSVP to Susan Fritzlen at 800.AGA.7211, ext 314. Make the most out of your partnership with AGA and get involved!

Plans are well under way for AGA’s 57th Annual Professional Development Conference & Exposition, taking place July 27–30, 2008 in Atlanta, GA. PDC 2008 will be bigger and better than ever! We invite you to join us as an exhibitor, sponsor or advertiser to take advantage of this outstanding marketing opportunity. Advertise and maximize your visibility. This is an opportunity to showcase your company’s message in the program that will be used throughout the week and taken back to offices around the country. To advertise, contact April Pardoe. Exhibiting puts your products and services in front of the people who need them most! The PDC is the perfect place to network with existing clients and new prospects, while enhancing corporate identification to a highly qualified decision-making audience. More than 1,700 high-level, hard-to-reach government financial management and accountability professionals will attend this year’s conference. We combine all the right elements to attract attendees to the Exhibit Hall and move them toward your booth. Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to increase your exposure beyond your exhibit space. The PDC provides you with prime opportunities to network with existing clients and bring your name to the attention of leading government executives and decision-makers. Our sponsor benefits enhance and strengthen your name recognition and bring you closer to the people you want to reach. To participate as an exhibitor or sponsor, contact Ada Phillips at 703.684.6931.
Register five or more of your offices for any of the upcoming audio conferences and you will receive a 20 percent discount off the early-bird price offered by the AGA. That's right, pay only $200 per site instead of the current registration price of $249. And remember, attendance is unlimited and two CPE hours are available for each participant. You cannot find a more cost-effective way of providing staff training with little or no travel involved. Register now! For questions regarding these programs, contact Raymond Harris, director of Chapter Operations, at 800.AGA.7211, ext. 339. Questions regarding registration should be directed to Maria Lucas, Meetings specialist, ext. 308.
AGA presents the CEAR to federal government agencies whose Performance and Accountability Reports (PARs) achieve the highest standards by communicating results and demonstrating accountability. The award hallmarks high-quality PARs that effectively illustrate and assess program performance—both accomplishments and shortfalls—and the cost of that performance. We will have close to 300 government and private sector individuals participating this year which creates a wonderful networking opportunity. Questions about your invitation? Please contact Susan Fritzlen at sfritzlen@agacgfm.org.
