AGA Audio Conferences
AGA is proud to announce its schedule of the
very popular audio conference series for the 2012 program
year. This cost-effective educational
tool is only $249 per phone line and attendance is unlimited.
Just envision a 100-minute radio talk show that provides two
continuing professional education (CPE) hours to the listeners.
Further, since the last 20 minutes or so of the program is
devoted to call-in questions, the audio conference provides
interaction between the listeners and speakers.
The speakers are subject matter experts and
will provide PowerPoint presentations or other handouts for the
site coordinators to download and copy, as well as project to a
screen, so participants can follow along during the telecast.
Lastly, CDs of the program will be available
soon after the program is completed at a reasonable price. As
you will see from the schedule below, AGA is planning 12 audio
conferences this coming program year. But do not be surprised to
see other audio conferences added to the schedule during the
year as emerging issues come to light.
These telecasts are generally produced in
conjunction with the National Association of State Auditors,
Comptrollers and Treasurers (NASACT) and the Association of
Local Government Auditors. NASACT plans to do at least four
additional audio conferences or webinars during the same period.
Thus, you can earn at least 32 CPE hours from these training
experiences.
The audio conferences are routinely held on
Wednesdays from 2 to 3:50 p.m. EDT/EST unless otherwise noted.
Please check the AGA website before each audio conference to
ensure that there were no changes.
