GASB Service Efforts and Accomplishments Overview  
AGA, in conjunction with the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers (NASACT), is pleased to announce the latest in its series of audio conferences addressing timely issues in government financial management.

The topic for this audio conference, using performance information for managing and reporting is a timely topic for all government financial managers. After years of research the GASB has issued a special report identifying sixteen suggested criteria and eleven good practices to help guide governmental organizations in effectively communicating information about their performance.  This audio conference will present these criteria with a discussion of how they might be applied and examples of how they are now being used in performance reporting.  The conference will also discuss performance reporting   in the context of the managing for results process now being used by many governmental organizations and highlight the key elements involved of managing for results.
