AGA-Sponsored Training Courses

Negotiation and Conflict Management Skills

This course explores a five-step process to successful negotiation, including how to manage the “people problems” that often arise out of the negotiation process. An excellent video provides insightful examples of what to do (and what NOT to do) during each step of the process, before participants apply the steps in group and individual class exercises. At the end of the course, mock negotiations are conducted where participants engage in role-plays that simulate their actual negotiations as closely as possible. The role-playing exercises can be specifically tailored to your organization’s typical conflicts and negotiations.
