DFAS Signs Policy Supporting CGFM

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), has signed a policy that prescribes the criteria and limitations for DFAS payment of certification/licensing expenses. This policy included the CGFM, and was effective as of November 25, 2002. Other federal agencies and offices that are considering a similar policy can use the DFAS Professional Certification Policy as a guide in drafting their own statements.
