CPE Processing
AGA’s First National
Internal Control & Fraud Conference offers 14 CPE hours. For more
information about speakers and session descriptions, please refer to the
conference agenda. There is no prerequisite or advance preparation for this
conference. All sessions are presented in the group-live format; no
self-study is involved.
In keeping with the requirements set forth by the
National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), AGA is
instituting a new Continuing Professional Education (CPE) system. During
this year’s conference, we will track attendance in a way we hope will
provide a more streamlined reporting process for attendees. After the
conference, attendees will receive a CPE form based on their participation
in educational sessions. Remember only registrants who pay to attend the
full conference are eligible for CPE hours. If you are unsure if your
registration is eligible for CPE, please contact
Julie Cupp on
800.242.7211, ext. 322.
Upon arrival at the
conference, proceed to registration to pick up your materials. Session
tracking tickets printed with a barcode will be enclosed with your
conference badge. This unique barcode is the number associated with your
registration record. You will be required to sign a ticket and turn it in as
you enter each educational session. You will be given enough tickets to last
the entire conference and more can be printed at the Registration Desk, if
needed. You may also give your name and ID to the session monitor if you are
unable to locate a ticket. AGA will use these tickets to tally your
educational session attendance and develop your CPE form. CPE forms will be
mailed back to you approximately three weeks after the conference.
Please Note:
CPE forms will
only be approved and processed for conference attendees whose registration
fees are paid in full. If your registration has not been paid, or if we have
not received a copy of your purchase order, please contact your agency’s
billing office to expedite payment. If you or your agency has not received
an invoice, please let us know.
If you have questions or need more information
regarding administrative policies, such as complaints and refunds, please
contact
Julie Cupp at
800.242.7211, ext. 322.
CPE
hours earned through any of AGA’s national educational activities can be
used to fulfill CGFM CPE requirements.
