Explore Phoenix
Phoenix offers world-class dining, exhilarating adventure—by Jeep, horseback or hot-air balloon—breath-taking golf courses, trendy shopping, nightlife and enriching culture.
Thanks to several developments downtown, the area is brimming with energy and excitement. Arts and performances flourish throughout the metro area, and Phoenix is a sports lover’s dream. Passionate shoppers will find malls, unique boutiques and antique shops in which to indulge.
Copper Square, in the heart of Arizona’s capital, has professional sports, concerts, street fairs, live theater and so much more. The shops and restaurants at Arizona Center provide a variety of places for dining and browsing in an attractive garden setting. Lively nightlife abounds here, with clubs and a 24-screen movie theater.
The Orpheum Theatre provides a different sort of performing arts venue. The theatre has been carefully restored to its original opulence when it hosted the best of vaudeville. Plays, musical presentations and dramatic events are regularly scheduled. At the elegant Herberger Theatre Center nearby, two small, intimate stages offer ideal venues for plays, musicals, ensemble groups and popular entertainment.
Heritage Square features historic buildings dating to the late 1800s. Homes that have been carefully restored and decorated to the period are open for tours.
