Chapter Newsletter Options

All of the following templates may be used as one-, two-, or three-color publications.

Three color publications should be produced in PMS® 662 (blue), PMS® 4505 (tan), and Black. This option is most often used if your chapter will be preprinting the masthead and mailing information in color creating a shell. Each month either your chapter or your chapter's commercial printer will fill in the shell with black text creating the third color.

It is not necessary for shells to be printed in two colors. They can also be produced in one-color, preferably PMS® 662 (blue) with each month's text in black creating a two-color publication.

For one-color publications, it is recommended that you use PMS® 662 (blue) or Black.

If you are sending your publication to a printer, printing from a color desktop printer or sending your publication as a pdf via e-mail, you may want to consider using one of the color templates provided. If you will be printing from a black and white desktop printer, we strongly recommend using a one-color (black) template for readability. If you choose to print the color templates on your black and white desktop printer you may have difficulty reading text where there are color backgrounds and where text appears in gray.
