Click here to view the October 31, 2006 GAR Reports.

The GAR Report is a summarized snapshot of how chapters are doing with regards to membership on a monthly basis. In the Chapter Recognition Program, up to 3,000 credits are available in the Membership Section in the areas of Base Growth, New Member Acquisition and Retention.

The GAR lists chapters by Chapter Size Groupings (Group A = 300 or more members; Group B = 150-299 members, etc.). We also publish a GAR by Region, which is useful to see how individual regions compare to each other. Don’t remember what the columns and numbers mean? Read a detailed explanation of the GAR Report.

New Opportunity for Chapter Recognition Credits
Do you know that members can earn credits for their chapters by participating as an SEA or CEAR reviewer? Check out the Membership Section, Goal 5, of the Chapter Recognition Program Guidelines! If one of your members participates as a reviewer in AGA's Performance Accountability Program, 100 credits per participant will be awarded. Read more about the CEAR and SEA Programs. This is a great way to learn about performance reporting and how some governments are reporting how well they perform and the challenges they face in an effort to be accountable and transparent. Please let Jessica Jones know if one of your members has served as a reviewer as of November 1, 2006.

SEA Award Recipients Announced!
At the Performance Management Conference, 11 recipients of the Certificate of Excellence in Service Efforts and Accomplishments (SEA) were recognized. View the list of awards recipients.

Interested in learning more about the SEA program for your government and how you can participate as a reviewer? Contact Evie Barry, director of performance reporting, at ebarry@agacgfm.org or 800.AGA.7211, ext. 324.
