Highlights Growth and Retention Reports (GARs) are a monthly summary of membership numbers by chapter. In the Chapter Recognition Program, up to 3,000 credits are available in the membership section in the areas of base growth, new member acquisition and retention. The GAR lists chapters by size (Group A = 300 or more members; Group B = 150-299 members, etc.). We also publish a GAR by region. It may be useful to see how individual regions compare. Don’t remember what the columns and numbers mean? Read a detailed explanation of the GAR Reports. December 2006, Volume 1, Issue 3 NEW! AGA Survey Tool Now Available to All AGA Chapters This tool makes it quick and easy to survey your chapter or regional members. While we encourage you to use this service, we ask that you limit your use to AGA business. Further, we request that you protect the privacy of other chapters/regions by limiting your use ONLY to those surveys that affect your chapter or region. This new opportunity for AGA Chapters will allow you to learn more about your members' professional goals and needs. It is also a great way to gain feedback from the individuals who attend your chapter conferences, meetings and events. Please contact Jennifer Curtin when you are ready to set up a survey at 800.AGA.7211, ext. 340. Sign up for AGA's Intensive Review Course and Take the CGFM Examinations before the NLC 2007 PDC Hotel Scholarships Official details on the program and RSVP forms will be mailed to chapter presidents in mid-February.
