AGA members form a diverse group of individualsfrom students to entry-level employees to senior executives and elected officialsworking for local and state governments, school districts and retirement systems, colleges and universities, federal agencies and public accounting firms.

AGA Member Types
| Full Government Member |
This class of
membership is available to individuals with three or more years
of government experience. This class is also available to
individuals with similar experience who work for
colleges/universities and not for profit organizations. $90/year

| Private Sector Member |
This class of membership is available to individuals working
for private companies, corporations, partnerships and sole
proprietors. $150/year
|
| Early Career Member |
This class of
membership is available to individuals with less than three
years of experience. $45/year
|
| Student Member |
This class of membership is available to full-time
college/university students that are not gainfully employed. $30/year
|
| Retired |
This class of
membership is available to individuals who have permanently
retired from and are not working in the field of government
financial management. $30/year |
| Government Group Membership |

| Lifetime Member |
Lifetime membership is bestowed upon individuals that have been
AGA members for forty years to recognize their distinguished
service to the Association. Lifetime memberships are awarded
each January. Lifetime members no longer pay annual dues. |
