This is a special limited enrollment offer for those individuals who have already been studying for the CGFM Examinations and need extra reinforcement of the material. Only the individuals who register and attend the Intensive Review Course will have the opportunity to take the CGFM Examinations on February 3-4, 2006.

The Intensive Review Course is not a substitute for the three instructor-led training courses. On the contrary, it is designed as a supplement to previous preparation for the CGFM Examinations. Attending previous courses or studying using CGFM Study Guides before participating in this event is strongly encouraged.

Location

The Intensive Review Course and the CGFM Examinations will take place at the JW Marriott Hotel Pennsylvania Avenue, located at 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004-1710. PH: 202.393.2000. The specific room location will be provided to all registered attendees as we get closer to the conference.

To attend the Intensive Review Course and take the CGFM Examinations in Washington, D.C., participants must first be accepted into the CGFM Program by satisfying the education requirement (bachelor’s degree with 24 credit hours in financial management topics), submitting the CGFM Program application form with $85 application fee and receiving an eligibility letter from AGA.

In addition, the work experience requirement of at least two years of professional-level government financial management experience must be satisfied and a Work Verification Form must be submitted and accepted by AGA. The necessary forms can be found on the AGA website at www.agacgfm.org/cgfm/start/.

Prior attendance of CGFM training course(s) or purchase of the CGFM Study Guides is not required but is strongly encouraged.
