Learn About AGA’s CEAR Program – Join Us for this Important Event

What's all the excitement about? Value. Access. Expertise. If your agency is producing (or will be!) a Performance and Accountability Report (PAR), then join us for a special session, "Effective PARs - Success Through CEAR" from 1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2004, to learn about the benefits of the CEAR Program and how and why to be a part of it, either as a participating agency or as a reviewer. Participating agencies have their PARs reviewed by performance reporting experts, obtain recommendations for improving the reports, and receive the Certificate of Excellence if merited. All agency representatives are encouraged to join us. AGA launches the next evaluation cycle late July - be a part of the excitement!

Special Session on AGA’s SEA Program… Don’t Miss Out!

"Performance Reporting at the State and Local Level" - AGA launched a Certificate of Excellence in Service Efforts and Accomplishments Reporting Program designed to help state and local governments more effectively communicate with stakeholders. Participating governments have their performance reports reviewed by performance reporting experts, obtain recommendations for improving the reports, and receive public recognition if the reports are judged outstanding. Attend this special session from 1:55 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, to learn more about preparing a topflight performance report, submitting your state or local government's report for review, and/or serving as a program reviewer.

Important Session - Join Us To Learn About AGA's CGFM Program

Would you like to learn more about the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation? Please join us for a special session, "CGFM: A Valuable Addition to Achieving Your Career Goals," from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004.  You will hear from colleagues who have recently completed the three examinations and earned their CGFM certification.  Also on the panel will be two members of AGA's Professional Certification Board who will speak about why you should, and how you can, become a CGFM.
