Mechanical Specifications

AGA prefers to receive ad submissions electronically. All submissions should include the original file (Macintosh QuarkXpress 6.0 files are preferred) as well as all original images and fonts. All ads should be prepared in four-color process with color composite proofs included. Composite proofs can be PDF, TIFF or EPS files and are required to ensure proper placement of images and correct use of fonts. Submissions that do not include these items will not be accepted and payment may be forfeited.

  • Film materials should be supplied as camera-ready copy or film negatives, right-reading, emulsion side down, 133-line screen.
     

  • Electronic submissions are due May 20, 2005 and may be arranged through Marie Force, AGA director of communications, at mforce@agacgfm.org.
     

  • Hard-copy artwork is due June 10, 2005 to Jennifer Cedoz, TGD Communications, 901 N. Pitt St., Suite 250, Alexandria, VA 22314.
     

  • Advertisers will be charged for copy corrections or alterations that are the result of problems with the furnished mechanicals.
     

  • Advertiser or authorized agency must forward all materials to Marie Force in accordance with the deadline schedule and rates.
     

  • In signing the enclosed order form, the advertiser/agency agrees to abide by the contract regulations as stated above.
