AGA Orlando Chapter Formation Meeting
Sunday, July 10, 2005
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Do you live in the Greater Orlando vicinity and are
frustrated by the lack of an AGA chapter in the area? We have setup this
meeting to bring folks together to talk about setting up a new chapter to
service the needs of members who live in Orlando.
For those of you who have had the experience of creating a new chapter know
that it is a rewarding endeavor, but that it requires a dedicated group of
members who are willing to put their volunteer time and energy together to
make it happen.
Chapters conduct outstanding events that offer continuing
professional education (CPE), offer networking and leadership opportunities,
rewarding community service activities, monthly chapter newsletters, as well
as social events.

development, improve communications and understanding, solve issues and
build partnership and trust, thereby enhancing AGA's focus on advancing
government accountability. AGA's Corporate Partner Advisory Group is all
about improving access between the private sector and government. After all,
we need each other. We share common goals, and we can learn from each
other's mistakes and successes.
At the meeting, we'll get an update on AGA programs from AGA
Executive Director Relmond Van Daniker. We will also get an update on the
various research projects that are under way. This is an excellent
opportunity to network with other Corporate Partner representatives and
learn first hand how to maximize your organization's partnership with AGA.
