Highlights
The GAR Report is a monthly summary of membership numbers by chapter. In the Chapter Recognition Program, up to 3,000 credits are available in the Membership Section in the areas of Base Growth, New Member Acquisition and Retention.
The GAR lists chapters by size (Group A = 300 or more members; Group B = 150-299 members, etc.). We also publish a GAR by region. It may be useful to see how individual regions compare.

Congratulations 2010 Rally for Retention Winners
Thanks to your hard work, we were able to remind many of our members to renew before they were suspended. Through the excellence and determination of our chapters, we were able to reach out to more than two-thirds of the members who were in danger of suspension. As a result, numerous chapters met the goal of retaining 50 percent or more of their members who had not renewed by April 30, 2010, and many more chapters were close to reaching their goal.
Chapters that were able to encourage one-half or more of their members to renew by May 31 were entered into a drawing for a chance at three complimentary conference registrations. Our lucky winners are the following chapters:
- Beckley
- Idaho Centennial
- Silicon Valley
Winning chapters can choose which conference registration they would prefer: AGA’s 2010 Professional Development Conference & Exposition in Orlando, the Fifth Annual Internal Control & Fraud Conference in Washington, D.C, or the Sixth Annual Performance Management Conference in Baltimore.
A big thank you to ALL chapters that worked so hard to make this year’s Rally for Retention campaign successful. Just remember—it is never too late for a suspended member to be reinstated. If you have any questions, or have a member who would like to renew—please feel free to send them our way!
PDC Community Service Raffle and Silent Auction
AGA is proud to once again sponsor the National Community Service Raffle and Silent Auction. During the PDC, we’ll be selling raffle tickets and hosting a silent auction for great prizes such as gift certificates, regional gift baskets, sports memorabilia and lots more.
