Grants
Management
Assessment Group
Launched
Members have
been selected
for a new
Partnership work
group that is
developing a
candidate
assessment tool.
The tool will
help government
managers assess
candidates for
grants
management
positions. While grants mangers are stewards of
$600 billion a
year in federal
grant dollars,
those who hire
them often do
not have
evaluation tools
capable of
screening
candidates for
critical
competencies
across the large
array of skills. This new tool
will help
interviewers
accurately
assess a
candidate’s
capabilities.
The “Candidate
Assessment
Tool'' will
be completed in
early 2012.

Excellence in
the Special Act
category. The
CAROI guide is
based a number
of key
principles that
help resolve
audit findings
and prevent them
from
reoccurring. The
CIGIE award
recognizes
special acts
that go above
and beyond to
help improve
government
performance and
accountability.
It was awarded
to the
Partnership on
Oct. 18,
2011.
