Baton Rouge Chapter Recognized on SLU’s Hall of Honor for Endowed Scholarship in Accounting

Southeastern Louisiana University’s (SLU) College of Business and Technology recently dedicated its Hall of Honor to recognize AGA’s Baton Rouge Chapter and other donors of endowed scholarships and professorships . The Baton Rouge Chapter was recognized for its endowed scholarship in accounting totaling $14,000. William M. Burch, CGFM, the chapter’s scholarship chair, accepted the plaque from SLU President Randy Moffitt, and placed it in the Hall of Honor.

Rick Simpson, Ph.D., CPA, associate professor and head of SLU’s Department of Accounting, thanked AGA’s Baton Rouge Chapter for its continued generosity through the scholarship program. Special thanks were given to Burch and Harry Mills, CGFM, for their work in this program over the years.
