Corporate Partner Spotlight: VISTA
Government financial officers must
begin to incorporate real property asset management into their
financial reporting procedures. Under OMB A-123 and similar financial
regulations, agencies must establish policies and procedures regarding
program results and use of resources to support agency missions.
Without understanding the impact of real property holdings on
operations, it is nearly impossible to safeguard an
organization’s finances from waste, fraud or mismanagement.
VISTA transforms real property from a must pay bill to a bottom line
benefit. VISTA eliminates unnecessary spending in real property,
delivering at least 100-to-1 return on investment in its management,
information technology and real property consulting services. By
comparing an organization’s mission, budgets, work force trends
and owned or leased property, VISTA creates solutions that cut costs,
eliminate waste and improve workplace efficiency. For more than 20
years, VISTA has enabled its clients to become leaders in complying
with real property regulations and legislation— protecting their
cash positions while becoming more fiscally responsible.

NCSF—Local Support Through National
Efforts
As you opened your membership renewal this
year, you probably noticed an area where you could choose to make a
donation to the National Community Service Fund (NCSF). What is this?
The NCSF allows AGA members to support community efforts through
voluntary tax deductible contributions. This fund supports local
communities through matching funds raised by our chapters at community
service events. Over the past year, the NCSF has helped support Habitat
for Humanity, Fisher House, the Humane Society, St Jude’s and
many more charitable organizations. Some of the donations also fund AGA Community Service
Scholarships. Your donation, along with many others, will affect
many individuals in our communities. Thank you in advance for your
support.
