AGA Member Zack E.
Gaddy, CGFM,
Named DFAS Director
Zack E. Gaddy, CGFM, CPA, a member of
AGA’s Denver Chapter, has been named
the new director of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service
(DFAS).
Gaddy begins his new job on May 30. Prior to this appointment,
he was
director for Accounting Services for the U.S. Air Force and
selected unified
commands and defense agencies.
Along with his numerous leadership roles in DFAS since 1991,
Gaddy also has a
long and active history with AGA. He has served as a Regional
Vice President,
as a member of the Academy Board and as a member of the
Professional
Development Conference Technical Committee.
AGA Executive Director Relmond P. Van Daniker, DBA, CPA, wrote
in a
congratulatory letter to Gaddy: "DFAS is an outstanding
agency and is integral to the government’s financial
infrastructure. We are delighted to have an AGA
member—and a CGFM—at the helm and look forward to
