Member News Wallace "Wally" Donnelly, 63, a member of AGA’s New York Capital Chapter, died unexpectedly Dec. 30, 2009. An AGA member since1981, Donnelly headed up the chapter’s involvement in the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program and served for 34 years with the New York State Comptroller’s Office. He also coordinated other VITA programs, volunteered at the local food pantry and donated time to his church. As fellow chapter member Linda Coiffi wrote in the chapter newsletter, “Wally touched so many people throughout the community. He was a gentle, caring man who always had time for others and always treated each with respect.” Congratulations to Carolyn Marcinek, past president of AGA’s Cleveland Chapter, and her husband, Tim, who welcomed their first child Elizabeth (Libby) on Jan. 1, 2010.
