AGA Research Program
The AGA Research Program creates research projects of value to
governments, industry and the AGA membership. Two major types of
research are conducted under the program: sponsored and cooperative,
with cooperative tending to have a short (90-day) timeframe, and
sponsored being of a longer, continuing nature.
AGA would like to hear from you! Do you know of any area in
federal, state, or local government accounting, auditing, or
financial management where you think there is a real need for
up-to-date, relevant research? We have identified certain areas,
such as: Business Process Outsourcing; Certifying Officers Laws and
Regulations; Debt Accounting and Management; Erroneous Payments;
Grants Management and Accounting; Laws and Regulations Relating to
Budget Execution; Recovery Auditing; and Working Capital Funds.
Please contact
Anna D. Gowans Miller,
Director of Research, if you have a
project idea or would like more information about any of the AGA
research projects at
