About the State Ethics Commission:
The Georgia State Ethics Commission is a State Agency tasked with protecting the integrity of the democratic process by enforcing and regulating state campaign finance laws. The Commission consists of five appointed members. In order to assist the Board of Commissioners in exercising the Commission’s regulatory authority and ensuring that its policy objectives are implemented, the Board of Commissioners is authorized by the Act to employ a staff which is headed by an Executive Secretary. The Commission’s Executive Secretary and staff are responsible for education, enforcement and increasing transparency and trust with the public.
