What is CGFM?

Certified Government Financial Manager® (CGFM®) is a professional certification awarded by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), demonstrating competency in governmental accounting, auditing, financial reporting, internal controls and budgeting at the federal, state, and local levels.

Certified Government Financial Manager® (CGFM®) is one of only two prefered financial certifications as listed by Mass HRD.

The Certified Government Financial Manager® (CGFM®) credential exemplifies experience and proficiency, distinguishing individuals who have made a significant commitment to their professional development and the citizens of the Commonwealth.
