The Boston Chapter is continuing its effort to help brighten the lives of U.S. veterans living in Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Centers. We will again support “Valentines for Veterans” this February. Last year, our chapter provided more than 3,750 Valentines, artwork, and letters to nearly all VA Medical Centers in New England.

If you have children, grand kids, nieces and/or nephews, neighbors - this is an easy fun project they will love! Think about supplying your children’s classroom with valentine making items. Teachers are always very receptive to this program. For $5 in supplies, the kids will have a blast while making veterans smile with handmade cards, letters, or artwork.

For more information, please contact Chapter Community Service Committee members Ben Howe at and Marcia Luciano at

Thank you to all who are participating!

The Boston Chapter Community Service Committee would like to encourage our members to sponsor a wreath for the Holiday Season through Wreaths Across America, a 501(c)(3) organization. Their mission, each December is to place a wreath on every Veteran’s grave in remembrance. You can sponsor a balsam wreath, in honor of a living veteran or in memory of those that have passed. You can sponsor a wreath in memory of a Non-Veteran too!

Our Chapter selected the MA National Cemetery at Bourne to place our wreaths.

The last day to order a wreath is December 2, 2019.

All Wreaths will be placed on graves, Saturday, December 14, 2019 along with ceremonies at over 1,200 cemeteries, throughout the United States. It is only $15 to sponsor a wreath
