AGA is the member organization for financial professionals in government. We lead and encourage change that benefits our field and all citizens. Our training events, professional certification, publications and ongoing education help members build their skills and advance their careers.

Greetings members and friends of the Central Arkansas Chapter,

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all members of the Central Chapter of AGA and to those of you who are interested in joining our Chapter this year. Our goal for the Central Arkansas Chapter of AGA for the coming year is to provide you with outstanding opportunities for professional education, networking, and community service. We encourage each member and friend to communicate your interests and ideas to our leadership team.  We have a very talented and dedicated leadership team that is interested in supporting all of your needs that come to mind.

The Central Arkansas Chapter has a great agenda for activities that will occur this year:

Membership – All members please renew your membership and recruit your friends, colleagues and family.  We have several initiatives and promotions planned to continue to increase membership.

Community Service – This is a great way to give back to our community.  We look forward to having both full member participation and non-member participation at events with our pre-existing affiliations and expanded activities.

Education – The Central Arkansas Chapter of AGA is committed to providing low cost education and training.  You will find that we have established a cost effective way to maintain your education credits. We hope to see you at our very popular lunch CPE meetings and our full two-day seminars.

As your president for the 2016 – 2017 fiscal year, I look forward to working in conjunction with each member and friend to continue to achieve goals set out for this Chapter. I encourage you to take advantage of the AGA opportunities to further enhance your career and education.

I look forward to seeing each of you at our upcoming events.

Sincerely,

Joshua Walker
