Ohio Wesleyan University

Ohio Wesleyan University's academic department is currently searching for one or two part-time accounting instructors who are willing and able to teach this coming fall 2018 (late August – early December). We are needing to find individuals who could teach ACCT 217 – Principles of Financial Accounting and/or ACCT 342 – Intermediate Accounting I. We have some flexibility in terms of course offerings in which the instructors could teach morning, afternoon, or evenings. Each course pays $5,000 and course contact time is 150 minutes per week. Courses can be taught over 2 or 3 days per week, and my guess is that the instructor would be interested in 2 days per week (each class meeting running 75 minutes) since most will also be working professionally.

Preferred that instructors have a graduate degree (MBA, MAcc, etc); however, it isn’t a requirement. We do require that they have professional certification (CPA, CMA, and/or CFA) and are in good standing.
