AGA Dallas Chapter to hold a Professional Development Training event on Oct. 25, 2018

The Association of Government Accountants' Dallas Chapter will hold its next full-day speaking and training event on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 at the City Cub in Dallas. Five speakers will discuss an update on the Government Accountability Office's 2018 Yellow Book, Government Accounting Standards Board, advancements in data mining using bots, among other interesting topics. Check in will begin at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast being served at 8 a.m. The first speaker will begin at 9 a.m. with the day ending at 4 p.m. Lunch is also included.

City Club is located in suite 6900 on the top floor of the Bank of America building, at 901 Main Street. Parking will be validated and parking will be available at the Texas Club Parking Lot at 800 Main Street, immediatley southwest from the Bank of America building. Chapter members got to hear about the City of Dallas's economic status for the current fiscal year and economics for auditors and accountants from the City of Dallas's Chief Planner and Economist, Earnest Lloyd, and about the City of Dallas's internal controls from Interim Managing Director of the Center of Performance Excellence, Renee Hayden on Jan. 25, 2018 at the Breakfast Professional Development Training event.
