April 2017 donation to the Salvation Army Food Pantry in North Texas The Dallas AGA Chapter has donated to various North Texas charities and non-profit organizations for decades.

The most recent donation was a$125 monetary donation to the Wounded Warriors Project. The AGA Dallas Chapter Executive Committee chose to change the usual $25 Starbucks gift cards that were donated to each speaker and donate $25 per each speaker to a local or national charity. The Wounded Warrior Project donation was made on behalf of the speakers who spoke at the October, 2018 Professional Development Training (PDT) event.

The AGA Dallas Chapter donated $125 to the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance on behalf of the speakers who spoke at the April, 2018 PDT event.

The AGA Dallas Chapter will donate at least $125 to the North Texas Food Bank on behalf of the speakers slated to speak at the May 16, 2019 PDT event held at the City Club in Dallas.

The AGA Dallas Chapter held a food bank at the April, 2017 PDT where members and CEC members donated non-perishable foot items to a Salvation Army food pantry. The collected beans, pasta, soup, rice, macaroni and cheese, fruit, and other items are pictured above.

The Chapter Executive Committee has also explored donating money for a scholarship for accounting students at a local Dallas college, including a community college. If the CEC votes on this, please check back here or the "News" page to see which college and the amount if this comes to fruition.
