U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Financial Operations, Collection Team is seeking an individual interested in a temporary 90 day detail for a Financial Analyst at the GS-7 or 9 grade level. Please forward this information to anyone who might be interested.
The detailee should have the desire to learn about collections and other financial topics working closely with the Denver based collections team.
Current Federal Employees with familiarity with the FBMS and/or SAP operating environments are preferred. We would also prefer that the detailee was in the Denver area and worked out of the FWS office located off W. Jefferson Ave in Lakewood.
Major duties include:
- Process collections, taking pay.gov collection transmittal documents and paper checks to process into FBMS and Treasury
- Aid in the preparation of weekly Fund Balance with Treasury reconciliation
- Communicate with collection officers seeking advice
- Track collections outstanding workload processed in pay.gov and not collected through the lockbox
