Presidents Message

My year as the Chapter’s President is going very quickly and it is time to begin planning for next year. Without a President Elect I am beginning to put together next year’s Chapter Executive Committee (CEC). The CEC is a great way to get more involved in AGA. Some of the Chapter Committees are set up with Co-Director’s. As a new CEC member you can work with other experienced members. It is also a great way to share the projects. If you are interested in serving on the CEC or would like more information about the CEC please contact myself or any current CEC member. CEC member info can be found in the newsletter or on the website.

On January 28th Jeff Filbert, Frank Faughn and myself attended the UNL Meet the Firms event. We had a great opportunity to talk to accounting and finance students about Government at all levels as an employer of choice and the advantages of AGA membership as a student or young professional.

Make sure to check your calendars and sign up to help with the Jr. Achievement Bowl-a-Thon. They really need and appreciate our help to help verify donations per session/per team and to put together a bank deposit at the end of each session. Please contact Jessica Elliot for more information

It is AGA membership renewal time. Recently AGA National sent out email membership reminders. The email includes the log in information needed to renew on line. The Lincoln Chapter doesn’t have a Chapter membership cost. If an approval is required prior to processing your renewal, an invoice can be printed out. The State’s PCard can be used to renew your membership on line.
