2020 Citizen-Centric Report Contest

November 6, 2019 – February 28, 2020

The Montgomery/Prince George’s County Chapter of the AGA is hosting its annual contest for teams of college students to create a Citizen‐Centric Report (CCR) on a governmental entity in Maryland. The winning team will be awarded a $2,000 cash prize to be presented at our May dinner meeting.

January Dinner Meeting

January 22, 2020

Our next dinner meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at All Set Restaurant in Silver Spring (8630 Fenton Street, Plaza 5). Tracy Abdo, U.S Government Accountability Office, will present “DoD Contractor Transparency Report.” You will earn 1 CPE (Field of Study – Management and Organization) for attending. Community Service Event

Please join AGA Montgomery/Prince George's County Chapter as we volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank to promote our values in community service. Capital Area Food Bank provides food to a network of organizations to help families in need. Volunteers are needed to sort and pack bags with food. This event will take place at the Capital Area Food Bank Distribution Center located at 4900 Puerto Rico Ave. NE, Washington DC 20017 on February 1, 2020 from 9 am - 12 pm. February Dinner Meeting
