Dinner Meetings
The chapter holds monthly meetings from September through May. Meetings usually occur on the second Wednesday of each month. Our reception starts at 6:00 p.m., and the dinner meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. During the dinner meetings, we will have live speakers discuss a variety of topics. The learning objectives of our dinner meetings include learning new management techniques and practical tips to increase efficiency in government financial operations. You do not need to bring anything to the meetings. The meetings are open to all that are interested in attending, including government employees, private sector, CPAs, CGFMs, students, etc.
The dinner meetings take place at various venues in Montgomery and Prince George's counties throughout the year. Please see below for location details.
It costs $35 to attend for non-government employees. For state, local and federal government employees, we are offering a reduced fee of $20. For students, we are offering a reduced fee of $15. We accept credit card payments on this website.
You will earn 1 CPE for attending in a variety of topics, including but not limited to Governmental Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Management. We are now NASBA certified!
