Welcome to the homepage of the Ozarks Chapter of the Association of Governmental Accountants. We are a local chapter of a nationally recognized member organization for government financial management professionals. We lead and encourage change that benefits our field and all citizens. We provide training events, continuing professional education, professional certification (CGFM), and networking opportunities to help members build skills and advance their careers.

We have an incredible leadership team, called the Chapter Executive Committee (CEC), made up of local financial professionals. You can find their roles and contact information from the “Our Chapter” menu.

Check out our chapter newsletter, The Ozarks Ledger, from the “Our Chapter” menu for a one-stop shop filled with up-to-date news, financials, CEC meeting minutes, governmental job opportunities in the Ozarks, and upcoming local, regional, and national events. 

Our event calendar can be found under the “Training & Events” menu, where you can find a list of locally planned networking and CPE opportunities, and register for the next event. All professionals and guests are welcome as these events are not strictly limited to governmental employees.

2020 Fall Seminar

October 20 | 7:30-4:30 PM CT | 8 CPE + October 29 | 8:00-12:00 PM CT | 4 CPE

We bring to you the Fall Seminar with meaningful education opportunities and engagement for 12 CPE. Offered as a fully virtual or in-person 8 hour event on October 20th at Bass Pro's White River Conference Center. An additional half-day on October 29th from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM offered virtually for Fall Training registrants. Virtual attendees will attend on GoToWebinar and all attendees will use Conferences i/o for CPE and engagement.

Every year, this event brings more than 1,300 government leaders and industry experts together to discuss ways to improve government services through technology modernization and business transformation in a budget-constrained environment.

As new forms of advanced technology are introduced to government users, there are many questions about what to pursue, what to invest in, and what to simply observe for a while.
