Chapter News

We have prepared revised draft AGA-Philadelphia By-Laws for review by our membership.  The revised By-Laws incorporate changes made by National.  Please review the attached document and provide any comments to AGAPhiladelphia@comcast.net.

 

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the Grants Management webinar is postponed. The new date has been confirmed for Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019. Time remains the same from 2 - 3:50pm, ET.   If you already registered, your registration is confirmed for the new date. However, if this no longer works for you, please cancel your registration via email to agaphiladelphia@comcast.net no later than Friday, Jan. 18.

Charles F. Hoeger, CPA, passed away on July 24, 2018. Charlie is a Lifetime member of AGA. He has been a member of AGA since 1965. He retired from the Department of Defense as a Program Director. He enjoyed helping others and doing accounting work. He was working at H&R Block during the tax season for the past several years.

In addition, the session will identify ways to use the GAO Green Book, the OMB Compliance Supplement and other tools as guides to better understand and implement internal controls.
