About the Southern Arizona Chapter

The Association of Governmental Accountants (AGA) Southern Arizona Chapter (the Chapter) serves the government financial management community in Tucson and the surrounding areas by providing high quality education, encouraging professional development and certification, and supporting standards to advance government accountability. 

The Chapter provides monthly training opportunities on a variety of subjects including financial management, budgeting, accounting, economics, ethics, communication, and related legislation and taxation issues. These monthly meetings allow members to network with individuals from various organizations.  All of these continuing education opportunities are offered to provide current, quality information and instruction at a very reasonable cost. Additionally, the Chapter promotes the Certified Government Financial Management (CGFM) certification by offering study guides on loan at no cost to Southern Arizona Chapter members in order Increased knowledge of government financial management .
