Updated: March 29, 2022

  • Wearing a mask is optional, but recommended.
  • Protect yourself by frequently washing your hands and minimizing face touching.
  • Do NOT attend the event if you feel ill or were recently exposed to COVID-19.
  • Socially distanced seating: Within the design of our meeting and event spaces, we will provide seating with several distance options to accommodate various comfort levels.
  • Colored lanyards corresponding to your comfort level will be provided.
  • Hand sanitizing stations: We will provide ample hand sanitizing stations throughout the event spaces for you to use.

Liability Waiver

  • I understand that travel and gathering involves risk of sickness, including sickness from COVID-19. I (and on behalf of my guest(s)) fully assume that risk and, further, to the fullest extent of the law waive and release AGA and its employees, directors, officers, and agents from and against claims, liabilities and expenses arising from injury, sickness or death from contraction or spread of COVID-19 or other communicable disease due to travel to or attendance at an event hosted by AGA.
  • I will take necessary precautions while at the event, including but not limited to engaging in appropriate social distancing, wearing a mask in public areas when not consuming food or beverage, minimizing face touching, frequently washing my hands, and avoiding risky environments such as overcrowded bars or restaurants. I agree not to attend any AGA event (or not to remain at an AGA event) if I feel ill when I arrive or at any time during the event; tested positive for COVID-19, or was exposed to COVID-19.
  • This waiver and release is binding on me, my family, and my heirs and successors.

Attendee Conduct Policy

AGA is dedicated to providing a safe, hospitable, productive environment for everyone attending our events, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, gender or sexual orientation. It is important to remember that a community in which people feel unsafe or threatened is neither healthy nor productive.  AGA prohibits conduct that intimidates, threatens or harasses during our training events. This policy applies to speakers, staff, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, contractors and attendees. ERM Workshop participants found to have violated this policy may be sanctioned, including removal from ERM Workshop and being barred from future events, at the discretion of AGA.
