Health & Safety Guidelines

Updated: July 15, 2022

The health and safety of our members, attendees, sponsors, staff and speakers are of utmost importance to AGA, especially as the country continues to deal with the effects of the pandemic.

  • There are no major pandemic restrictions for Anaheim businesses, events and other establishments and public places.
  • There are no longer state guidelines or recommendations for social distancing or limiting of customers in public spaces.
  • Bring your mask.  Wearing face mask is highly recommended.

Vaccination Proof/Covid-19 Test:

  • The State of California has lifted its mask mandate as of April 20, 2022.

  • Masks are recommended indoors, regardless of vaccination status, but are NOT required. While the CDC continues to recommend masks, AGA is following the local ordinance and want you to do what is comfortable for you as it relates to your health and will respect your choice.  All attendees should be mindful and respectful of other attendees' health choices.

AGA will continue to monitor the latest guidelines from the CDC, City of Anaheim, Orange County, California Public Health and will update this page when there are changes in the guidelines.

Additional Health & Safety Guidelines:

  • Protect yourself by frequently washing your hands and minimizing face touching.
  • Do not attend the event if you feel ill or were recently exposed to COVID-19.
  • Colored lanyards corresponding to your comfort level will be provided.
    • Green - Hugs and High Fives Welcome!
    • Yellow - Elbow Bump Ok
    • Red - 6' Distance Preferred
  • Hand sanitizing stations: We will provide ample hand sanitizing stations throughout the event spaces for you to use.
  • Pick up a free AGA mask and hand sanitizer at the AGA booth.

Liability Waiver:

  • I understand that travel and gathering involve the risk of sickness, including sickness from COVID-19. I (and on behalf of my guest(s)) fully assume that risk and, further, to the fullest extent of the law waive and release AGA and its employees, directors, officers, and agents from and against claims, liabilities and expenses arising from injury, sickness or death from contraction or spread of COVID-19 or other communicable disease due to travel to or attendance at an event hosted by AGA.
  • I will take necessary precautions while at the event, including but not limited to engaging in appropriate social distancing, wearing a mask in public areas as needed when not consuming food or beverage, minimizing face touching, frequently washing my hands, and avoiding risky environments such as overcrowded bars or restaurants. I agree not to attend any AGA event (or not to remain at an AGA event) if I feel ill when I arrive or at any time during the event; tested positive for COVID-19, or was exposed to COVID-19.
  • This waiver and release is binding on me, my family, and my heirs and successors.

Attendee Conduct Policy:

AGA is dedicated to providing a safe, hospitable, productive environment for everyone attending our events, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, gender or sexual orientation. It is important to remember that a community in which people feel unsafe or threatened is neither healthy nor productive.  AGA prohibits conduct that intimidates, threatens or harasses during our training events. This policy applies to speakers, staff, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, contractors and attendees. PDT participants found to have violated this policy may be sanctioned, including removal from PDT and being barred from future events, at the discretion of AGA.
