CPE credit

FSS offers six continuing professional education (CPE) hours and five Professional Development Units (PDUs). 

NASBA's CPE calculation

50 minute session =  1 CPE
75 minutes session = 1.50 CPEs

PMI's PDU calculation

50 minute session = .75 PDUs
75 minute session = 1.25 PDUs

Prerequisites/learning objectives

Program level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: This program is suitable for participants who are at least mid-level within an organization; have knowledge, skills and ability commensurate with that level; and have operational and/or supervisory responsibilities.
Advance preparation: None required
Delivery method: Group live (in-person participant) or group Internet- based (virtual participant)

Learning objective: Participants will learn new insights into the burgeoning federal financial systems modernization strategy over the coming decade – and beyond.

Tracking process

AGA adheres to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) standards for CPE programs, which require an attendance verification process for all training events. This process will be used for Project Management Institute's (PMI)® PDU programs as well. 

In-person participant (at training location)

AGA scans name badges at varying times and will use this information to tally your education session attendance and create your CPE certificate. For each individual session, you must attend the entire session to receive credit. Participants who arrive late for a session or depart early may not receive credit.

Virtual participant (from your home/office)

During the virtual sessions, you will be required to click on a series of pop-up boxes that appear at random times. When these pop-up boxes appear you will have a short period of time to click on the “Continue Viewing” button. If you fail to click on these pop-ups, you will be ineligible to claim CPE credits for that session.

Announcing the pop-up alertness checks to fellow attendees in the chat box during a session is against NASBA policy and you may be ineligible to earn the CPE credit.

Session Recordings

Recordings for all sessions will be available at least two business weeks post training for all attendees to access. Please note: Recordings do not offer CPE and PDU credits. You must participate in the live streaming or in person to receive credits. Please refer to tracking process above for instructions.

CPE and PDU Retrieval

CPE certificates will be available to print online within two weeks after the training, at which time all attendees will receive an email stating that the CPE certificate is ready to download.

You may claim PDUs through your designated certification organization. For all Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Program Management Professional (PgMP)® and other PMI professional credentials, proceed directly through PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Program to claim PDUs with PDU claim code: 485532BKWI.
