Join us on an exciting road trip around the country on the Road to PDT 2020! On our way to Dallas, we'll be visiting several of our chapters and learning about the diverse sights, sounds, and tastes that make up our national membership. Buckle up and hang on - here we go!

 

In a few words, tell us about your chapter.
The Trenton Chapter has over 130 members and revolves around two major training events; the Fall Seminar and the Spring Symposium. We strive to provide quality CPEs to our members and local government leaders. With a focus on networking, our Chapter organizes community service events, happy hours, and dinner meetings.

What's a quirky fact about Trenton that others probably don't know?
The Old Barracks Museum is the only remaining colonial barracks in NJ and located right in downtown Trenton. On nice days you can see fully outfitted colonial reenactors roaming around the streets of Trenton.

Mentionable inventions that happened in Trenton include the I-Beam, Bayer Aspirin, Magic Markers, oyster crackers and the pork roll.

What tourist attraction would you recommend to an out-of-towner?
Jersey Shore – beach, boardwalks, and the best food
Trenton Thunder – 2019 Eastern League Champions (Double-A affiliate of the NY Yankees)
Six Flags Great Adventure – home of the tallest roller coaster in the world (Kingda Ka)
Delaware River – boating, tubing, river view restaurants
Princeton University – check out Woodrow Wilson, Jeff Bezos, and Michelle Obama’s alma mater
