Join us on an exciting road trip around the country on the Road to PDT 2020! On our way to Dallas, we'll be visiting several of our chapters and learning about the diverse sights, sounds, and tastes that make up our national membership. Buckle up and hang on - here we go!

Tell us about the Washington, D.C. Chapter
The D.C. Chapter truly encompasses and represents AGA’s mission. We have members ranging from past AGA national presidents to local university students who are the future of the government accountability profession. This supports great collaboration and diversity within our chapter and is a contributor to our growth and continued member involvement.

What is a quirky fact about Washington, D.C. that others probably don’t know?
D.C. is missing a “J street; streets skip from I to K! Another quirk is that not every state has an avenue: California Street is located in Adams Morgan and Ohio Drive is in Hains Point.

What tourist attractions are near your chapter?
The National Mall, White House, Capitol and Smithsonian. The Pentagon Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, US Marine Corps War Memorial and Air Force Memorial are close by in Arlington, Va.

What restaurants would you recommend to an out-of-towner?
Crab cakes and oysters from Old Ebbitt
Brunch at Founding Farmers

What’s the best road trip song for us to add to our playlist?
Tom Cochrane - Life Is A Highway
