Government Finance Case Challenge

AGA invites undergraduate and graduate students to compete in the virtual Government Finance Case Challenge. Student teams analyze data for a specified U.S. state, city or county government and develop a Citizen-Centric Report (CCR).

Submissions are judged by a panel of government finance experts, and the top teams present their findings via video.

The experience challenges students' moral reasoning, raises their awareness of the importance of accountability and opens doors to a career in government.

Fall 2019

Team registrations due by noon ET
Friday, Sept. 20.

Remember — winning team student members each receive a $1,500 scholarship!

This competition is only open to currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students. Undergraduate teams will compete against undergraduate teams, while graduate teams will compete against graduate teams.

Congratulations to the fall 2018 winners!
