CEAR® Preparer Training

Earn 2 hours of CPE and hear from the experts how to prepare an award-winning Performance and Accountability Report (PAR) or Agency Financial Report (AFR) for your agency.  Whether you are compiling a PAR or AFR, you will learn strategies and successful practices for presenting program and financial information in a comprehensive and easy to read style. Demonstrate your commitment to excellence by participating in this training. Complete a registration form for each staff attending the training.  Guidelines and additional information will be sent prior to the training. Limited seats are available!

Learning Objective: Though the program guidelines have been written to help an agency prepare a PAR/AFR and SPFI reports, attendees will learn additional methods on how to identify other content that can improve a report’s usefulness and usability. Join us to learn best practices and tips from prior preparers.

Registration Fees​

Agencies participating in CEAR Each agency can register up to five employees for this training at no charge. Additional employees will be put on a waiting list. If more than five registrations per agency are received, the person registering the employees will be contacted by AGA.

Confirmation/CPEs

Each registrant will receive an email confirmation automatically from AGA National Office once the registration is completed. Please make sure the email is correct during the registration process. Each participant will receive two (2) CPE hours, and within five business days, all attendees will receive an email from AGA stating that the CPE certificate is ready to download.

Substitution Policy

If you are unable to attend the training and have already registered, you may designate another person to take your place. Please email your request to cear@agacgfm.org and indicate the name of the individual that is substituting for you in the body of your email message.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

For all paid registrations only: Refunds, less a $25 processing fee per registrant, will be granted for requests received in writing by Aug. 24, 2018. Refunds will not be granted after this date. No-shows are responsible for full payment.
