I have a passion for helping individuals and teams discover new perspectives, to see radically different approaches that allow them to solve complex problems and master high-stakes situations.   I research new thinking approaches for expert teams that spark “aha” moments and I conduct unconventional learning events designed to help people break free of outdated thinking models.   The work is personal and the result of a messy path of discovery.   I discovered lens theory with the help of my autistic son, a model of cognition I teach experts that allows them to achieve higher-order critical thinking.  I devoted my doctoral journey to researching it and continue to advance the knowledge with the participation of audiences around the country that wish to open their minds to new perspectives.
