Prerequisite: None

Field of Study: Personnel/Human Resources (HR)

COVID-19 has forever changed the way we work and live. Almost instantly organizations and individuals were disrupted from their normal operations and forced into a remote and socially distanced everything. Overnight there was no more work/personal life separation. Home became work and personal, including sharing the same office space and technology resources with spouses, children, and other family members for most.

The pandemic forced the adoption of new ways of working and has impacted employees’ levels of fear and uncertainty that can and has had negative effects on morale, engagement, and productivity.

Our panelists will provide perspectives from government, academia and the private sector on:

  • How their organizations have adapted to this new remote environment,
  • How work lifestyles have changed and how they manage competing professional and personal obligations,
  • How they are keeping their employees/team members/students engaged and motivated, and
  • What they believe the future will look like for their respective organizations

Learning Objectives

Learn how to improve employee morale and dispel fears of uncertainty that will lead to cohesive teams and greater productivity in today's challenging workplace.
